Sentry: We use Sentry for error tracking and performance monitoring. When an error occurs in the app, Sentry may collect information about the error, your device, and your user session. Backend and Database
Supabase: We use Supabase as our backend provider, which includes database hosting, authentication, and storage. The data you provide to our app (such as your account information and user-generated content) is stored on Supabase's servers. Payment and Subscription Management
RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and related analytics. RevenueCat collects purchase history, user identifiers, and subscription data to enable subscription management, analytics, and fraud prevention. Email Communications
Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS SES): We use AWS SES to send transactional and administrative emails, such as account notifications, password resets, and service updates. AWS SES processes your email address and email content for delivery purposes. AWS acts as a data processor on our behalf and maintains industry-leading security standards. App Development and Distribution
Expo Application Services (EAS): We use EAS to build and distribute our app. During the build process, EAS has access to our app's source code, but does not collect personal data from our end-users. For app updates, EAS may collect your device's operating system and a randomized token to manage update delivery. This data is not used for identification or tracking. Apple App Store & Google Play Store: Our app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Both platforms require us to provide a privacy policy and disclose our data collection practices. They may also collect their own usage and diagnostic data, which is governed by their respective privacy policies.
AI-Powered Features
OpenAI API: We use the OpenAI API to provide certain AI-powered features within our app. When you use these features, the data you input (prompts) and the data we receive back (responses) are processed by OpenAI. OpenAI does not use data from their API to train their models. Data is retained for a maximum of 30 days for abuse monitoring purposes. Government Requests and Legal Process
We are committed to transparency regarding government access to user data.
Legal Compliance
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or government agency).
Warrant Canary
As of July 23, 2025, Maximilian Philipp Hoffmann has not received:
- Any secret surveillance orders under the German Code of Criminal Procedure (StPO)
- Any data requests from the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) under the BKAG with confidentiality obligations
- Any telecommunications surveillance orders under the German Telecommunications Act (TKG) with disclosure restrictions
- Any classified intelligence requests under the German Intelligence Services Act (BND-Gesetz)
- Any EU counter-terrorism related data access orders with gag provisions
- Any other government or law enforcement requests for user data that include confidentiality obligations prohibiting disclosure
We will update this statement regularly. Users should note if this statement is removed or significantly modified, as it may indicate that we have received such requests.
